Most Dangerous Weapons on Amazon

Best Weapons on Amazon

Amazon does not sell firearms… sort of. It comes really close with some of these items. There are the most dangerous and lethal weapons I found available on amazon that anyone can purchase.

Crossbows

These are dangerous and accurate and take minimal skill to be able to be accurate. Crossbows are a common hunting tool, though some states, like mine, only allow them during the rifle season, because they’re too effective to use during the archery hunt. This is a heated debate amongst hunters as far as ethics, but the point of the matter is, its a time tested and extremely lethal option, and as such, it tops our list as the most lethal option on Amazon. The Barnett pictured above is a great option that many hunters love.

Air Rifles

This ain’t your little pump bb gun. You can get some pretty serious air rifle’s on Amazon. The most lethal one we’ve found so far is the Benjamin Bulldog. A friend of a friend shot this Coyote with the one pictured. Shooting a .357 with air, this is a pretty serious weapon. There are videos on YouTube of guys taking down hogs and even deer with these.

These need to be recharged with air after 8-12 shots. For those 8-12, I’d say this is as dangerous or more dangerous than the crossbow, but the recharge is what gives the crossbow the slight edge. That, and the fact that more states allow crossbows for hunting than air rifles.

Compound bows

The compound bow is to the long bow what a modern day 30-06 is to the old muskets your great great great granddaddy used. These things are extremely fast and lethal. If you’re a good archer, I would put a compound bow higher than the crossbow because reload time is faster, and arrow speeds are almost as good. You don’t have the option for a magnified scope, but when I was shooting 2 hours per day one summer, I was accurate out to 100 yards. Most people don’t want to practice 2 hours per day, but even without that, I let a friend of mine with a good foundation of firearm knowledge shoot mine and he was shooting well enough to kill his target every time at 20 yards.

Recurve Bows

Recurves are simple and straight forward. If I could only have 1 bow to last me the rest of an apocalypse, it’d be a recurve. They’re not a fast and don’t hit as hard as a compound, but if the string broke, I could make a new one. It also would provide a better pattern for making another one myself than a compound would. Luckily, I don’t have to pick one or the other. I can have both.

Swords

This sword is advertised as not a display piece, and does not come with any wall hanging supplies. While it definitely isn’t made by a Japanese sword master (it was said that their swords could cut through the barrel of a rifle in WWII), these are very real, and are made with excellent carbon Damascus steel. The Katana is my sword of choice, and yes, it can be found on Amazon.

Machetes

Machetes are just plain useful and fun. They’re made from a softer steel than a sword, and are designed to be used for more chopping. They also have a wider blade, so they can be resharpened and worn down over and over again. Of those available on Amazon, one of our favorites is the Cold Steel Machetes. These are made with excellent steel. You can find a list of our 7 favorite machetes HERE.

I watched hours of YouTube footage before I got my first, their Cutlass Machete, pictured above, and I have not been disappointed. I have also used the Cold Steel Gladius and was equally impressed with that one. They have several sword styles to pick from, and even some traditional machete shapes as well. Their quality for the price cannot be matched. A good machete, like the cutlass, is about 1/5 the price of a good sword on Amazon.

Spears

You’re probably thinking, That doesn’t look like a spear! And you’re right. This is a dagger spear head. What is really cool about this is that it can thread onto a broom handle or a threaded wooden tool handle and become a spear, even one of the extendable painters poles. I like the fact that it is compact when I need it to be, and can be made into a spear in about 20 seconds. Yes, I definitely have one of these.

Crossbow Pistols

I have one of these. I replaced the handles with wooden ones I made myself, but this is just plain fun to shoot. I can stick these in trees all day. I actually have used this to stick orange plastic arrows as path markers up in trees where nobody will mess with them while out in the woods. If it can stick in an oak, it can stick in an animal or person.

Blow Guns

Yes, that’s a bear with a blow dart in it. I did some more research, and yes, it is indeed legit. I’d rather have more than a blow dart between me and that bear, but this is, obviously, a lethal weapon in the right hands. The model this guy used is also available on Amazon. I don’t think they sell the kind of crazy you need to use it against a bear though.

The Pocket Shot

I think this is the most unique and universal and easy to use sling shot/ sling bow combo on amazon. With this, you can shoot rocks, arrows, and lead shot. There are other options for sling bows on amazon, but this is the simplest and most universal option.

KBar Knife

This knife is a standard issue military knife used by the marines. I personally do not wan to ever find myself on the wrong side of one. These things are made both for combat and for practical use.

BB Gun

This was my first BB gun. I’ve killed almost as many rabbits with one of these as I have with a 22. You might be able to take out an enemy with a good head shot, but this is an effective small game weapon.

Wrist Rocket

These are simple but effective. The little wrist strap makes this much more effective than your average sling shot. These are effective on rabbits and squirrels. I don’t know that I would call this lethal, but I wouldn’t want to get hit with one. It is more effective in hunting than some of the other options further down the list.

Tactical Tomahawk

I have one of these and I love it. I have thrown it, chopped fire with it, and basically used it in all ways you’d use a weapon or a tool. Ok, I haven’t hurt another person with it, but I have used it in processing meat. It’s a great tool, and razor sharp.

Throwing Knives

There are so many other more practical weapons you can have, but throwing knives are just plain fun. Yes, I have some of these as well.

The first snare I set for a rabbit didn’t catch anything. I was about 10 and had rigged a slip knot with some bailing twine and set it on a game trail. I didn’t know if rabbits used the game trail, but it seemed like a good spot…. READ MORE
